hey peeps...it's been quite sometime since i'm here...
recently i've been down and no doubt you all have made improvements...
but i really hope to see big improvements and FAST...
i know it's really difficult to juggle between sch work and CO but you all must hang in there alright?(:
here are some problems i noticed hope you all will make the effort to improve on it?
here goes...

1: 音准
still a big prob but can i urge all of you to borrow or get your hands on a tuner(调音器) and practise everyday? no need long...just 1/2 to 1 hr everyday is good enough already...practise together with 长音 to speed up your practices?

2.不够气
this has always been a problem because you guys always don't made an effort to 练气!from now on, come 1/2 an hour earlier before every practise session to 练气 and an hour at home as well...by syf should not be a problem already...

3.不整齐
during combine practices,all of you all's notes do not come out at the same time...try to synchronise by counting on the beats and agree on when to take breaths etc.Make a habit to do that every session,every practice...listen to other sections when not playing...it helps too...

4.渐强不够明显
to do that you need to have enough 气...so it all goes down to basics again...

5.学使用气震音.
this is sometimes used to cover up minor 音准problems...so all of you start learning this if possible...but still...work solely on 音准 first!

6.LASTLY!!!演骤状态
please move( but not exaggerated) according to the song...you all are too stiff...

oh yes...this problem exists for generations...occasionally, talking is fine...not too loud...BUT!
DONT KEEP TALKING....it won't help you get GWH....(:

alright! i'm here to post! muhahas. anyway, this is peiyun.

this might simply be the last post that i'm blogging here. guess i wouldn't be so free already uhhs. oh well, it's already the start of the preparation of SYF`o9! it's going to be tough and everyone's will be worn out. but do remember! hang in there people!

it's harder to maintain than to obtain. yes, i know it. it WAS hard and tough when we attempted to acheive Gold with Honours. it will be a tough and rocky path for these few months, with end-of-year exams and stuffs. PEOPLE! HANG IN THERE! continue the glory. don't let the flame go off just like that. trust me, it's all worth the hardwork.

if next year april, we don't manage to get Gold with Honours(touchwood!), i guess you guys will be rather depressed and stuff. what i want to let you guys know is that, put in the best and don't regret at the end of the day kays!

okay. enough of those things. yup, anyway. through my four years in PRSSCOGY, i really learnt many many many things. learning how to control my temper and stuff. yes, i've been shouting and shouting and shouting at you guys. i might have even scolded you infront of everyone else. my apologies. i really want to thank you guys for compromising to me and everything else.

all these memories in guan yue with all those fun times that we spend together, i'll never forget. it's guan yue that my life in CO much much better and beautiful. thanks people.

really grateful that i got to know these wonderful people of guan yue. whether we have disputes in the past or what, i guess it's not important anymore. i sincerely thank everyone in guan yue for making my life so B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!

alright. people hang in there! i got to go already. promise to be there for you guys alright! i might not be physically present but i will be mentally be there for you guys! stay bonded and keep smiling! =)

this can say is my second time blogging on guanyue blog bah, so are everyone happy?cos i save u all frm reading the same last post whenever u all click onto the "posts".

i had been reading our old posts. . wah, guanyue blog had set up about 10 months already? wah, going to be 1 year old ! hurray!

this blog had grown from a blog to remind everyone of paying money, going for practices, the dates for practices, to a blog which can further bond the members of PRSS GUANYUE.

i felt very glad too seeing the members growing bonder and bonder together like a big family. or there won't be S.A rite? haha. no 老大！

if u all go to other sections blog, i bet u all will see a dead blog or post from a very long time.

only GUANYUE. a blog, although with no frequent posts, but a blog which will definitely have frequent tags.

27july07... we celebrated jup's bdae... he's bdae 30july.... actually we celebrating at sat de... but lambert cant book it tt dae... we went to lambert hse de bbq pit for bbq... haha... mii, yt, hf, cedric, gg, darren, yunkit, jup, fiona & kl meet at tampines mrt to go dere together... quan-ge, james & zd go lambert hse to help prepare... so we in the train den i giv jup his bdae present... wrapped alot layers de... when we abt to reach the kallang mrt den he tear finish... aniwae its a orange shoelaces... hahahaha... den we waited for darren at the mrt station while yk n jup running around playing wif the wrapper & fiona n kl duno go where... mei3 zhen1 xiang1 plastic bag!! we go dwn to wait for james to fetch us when darren reached.... wait n wait... finally he cum liao... den we go lambert hse... walk n walk den go wait for bus... den bus cum liao... mii hf cedric n gg go up the double deck.. den the rest below... den gg wanted to make yt cum up to sit wif cedric... but in the end we all went dwn.... finally reach liao den walk walk walk... yay! lambert hse!! started bbq... den some bbq some play some tok.... the bbq-ed food gt eaten by some pigs(called by lambert)... hf, cedric & gg ate the food....... i was going around looking at dey bbq & some playing... den i playing wif the basin water... sumhow i splash the water on jup but accidentally splash on lambert oso.. & james oso... den he eo again!!!... den gt thrown dwn into the water by lambert..... first to go in water.... i hate it... den sumhow fiona & yk oso gt into the water... den kl n james.... i didnt even eat anything lor... den gt wet liao... evil sia... den yt, cedric, hf & gg sit dere stone... den dey dunwan go in water... especially yt lor... die die dun wan go in water... hf worse... hold on the table.... haha.. but sumhow dey still gt get wet la... darren & quan-ge win lor.... sit dere act cool... haha... den nv get wet lor.... we veri veri noisy den the security scold us... in the end the security sae those without swimming costume canot go in the swimming pool... erm... we den sang bdae song to jup & giv him the real present... pencil case... den oso giv the sec4 seniors the book we make for dem... den i think we playing hide & seek... darren, quan-ge, jup & zd go hide... den cedric, hf, gg & mii go find... i was trying to revenge... jup splash the pail of water on mii.... den we find veri long... den the rest of the ppl either swimming(lambert, james & yk) or watching the ppl swimming.... suddenly we saw darren & quan-ge surrender... actually nt la... dey trying to save demself by telling us where's zd & jup... so we go 8th floor.... mii n gg take lift... hf & cedric walk up... den mi n gg veri zun3.. when we reach 8th floor juz nice zd & jup going dwn by another lift... den i run inside their lift den zd keep pushing mii out den i scratch him=P... in the end even cedric & hf oso reach 8th floor liao... so we all go dwn lvl1 together... den plan to di siao darren & quan-ge... which failed... when walking near the pool liao den i push jup... den he almost wet his phone but nv... den yk c he nv go in the water den he push jup... den jup's phone spoiled... heys! mr wong has given guan yue this opportunity to perform next saturday.
sorry for this short notice but he was unable to push it away. hence, he gave us this chance. and since he trust guan yue to be able to practice and perform within a week, we shall do our best for him kays.

we will be performing next saturday, 14th July 2007. we will be performing at tampines century square. the exact place i'm not sure about it.

i've not been given alot of information. hence i cannot tell you much about it. on the day itself, we will gather at 11am. where the gathering place will be all that i'm not sure. so i shall try to get more information asap kays.

we will perform our usual song, 枫. i will be letting the sec 2s to have their second performance. and this time will be in the public kays. hence, we will need to practise alot this week.

i will be getting the co room to be opened on monday.so...

there will be a guan yue practice from 3pm to 5 pm. please be punctual okay. so bring your instrument on monday. compulsary practice for:

CLOTHES:enough for 3D2N ,at least 4 sets, 2 to be P.E attire,CO SHIRT and another DARK COLOURED t-shirt (can bring 5th set just in case) best is to bring 5th DARK coloured shirt. there might be some wet games.

UNDERGARMENTS: enough for 3D2N; bring more for in case.

TOWEL: 1 or 2 also can

TOILETRIES: 1 SET (shampoo, body wash, facial form, comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, plastic bags [red colour if possible]for the dirty clothes)

TORCH: 1

SANDALS/FLIP-FLOPS (wash-ups only): 1 pair

hey hey hey! this is the 51st post of the guan yue blog already!!!! hehes. it seems like everyone's visiting the blog often to tag and flood the tag board. and every single time i try to look for my last tag, it takes years for me to look for it. and i never get the chance to understand what you guys are talking. hahas. nvm about that.

very very sorry that i won't be able to organise the guan yue outing for this june holiday as i'm having a very tight schedul this time round. so for that any one out there who wants to take the job of organising a guan yue outing, here are the only days that i can make it out of this holiday:

ok. and guess it's my turn to post!!! have been rather lazy to post. hahas. i didn't even post on my own blog kays. hahas. will post later i hope. =X. warning, i think this post is gonna be real long.hahas. XD

This section is specially for the SYF 2007 team.
it has indeed been a long long journey. right from the start, where we first started with the sectionals and the giving out of our 谱. i can just recall back the way the four dizis try so hard to get the 谱 for 箫。the way we fight for it. hahas. i'm totally diguisted by the number of times i've changed my 谱. through those editing and stuff like tat. hahas. how "WONDERFUL" it is.

next, the learning of the 谱. super irritating. i still remember. the tears that i shed when i tried to play 阿佤山第47小节，箫solo part. the number of times i said i want to give up. the number of times i was told to go for 私人课(yet till now, i've not got any)。

those days where we all came back for practises after practises. and performances after performances. we kind of like had 4 performances from the day we got the 谱 for 阿佤山till the day we had SYF. first one was the one with east zone chinese orchestra at Victorial Concert Hall. Second was at TECC for the 阮族乐团。Third, ESPLANADE CONCERT HALL! the one where all the guan yue slept in the performer's room. forth was the 狮城迎春 which was quite recent.

hereby, i want to thank everyone for your attendence and everything that you did from the start.

This section is for all my beloved seniors:
and all i want to say to all of you is a BIG BIG BIG BIG thank you for ur support and everything you did for us. i'm really touched by all the things that you guys did. from the small little booklet that peiboon made for us, to all the little notes that you guys wrote for us. thanks alot. and of cuz that includes the cake that you guys bought.

Si han: hey senior, i didn't expect you to turn up on tuesday. i'm really grateful for the cake and everything else that you did for us. though u didn't come to watch the SYF, i believe that your soul is with us, the guanyue-ers. we are from the big big family of the GUAN YUE!!!

We gt down the bus... n pohliva(gys shouxi) was the first to go... juz when we go in the SCH... we saw a school(duno wad school)wearing purple... veri 夸张de... den dey walk pass us... we saw the dizis... gt quite alot... den pohliva asked dem... eh who is the dizi solo ar?? den nobody replied him... in the end he said gd luck to dem... plus a veri soft ''better get cop''... lol... den we was thinking dey look lyk malay dance rather than co... haha...

we lined up in sectionals n sit down... den ding lao shi ask us to open the casing n let the instruments cool down... den pohliva n yt open the casings... for ur info if u duno... yt is using pohliva's sheng n pohliva is using guo lao shi's sheng... his sheng the mouth piece is different lorr... den we r asked to put our belongings n the casings under a staircase... den yt was to look after the 2shengs while pohliva n mii help to put the casing n belonging under the staircase...

den we moved on... the next stop... tuning rm or wad... den the erhu teacher help dem 调音... the tanboyue gt dinglaoshi n another teacher(nt our school de) to help 调音... den we 排练... lol... den when tym is up... dinglaoshi requested for a lil more tym... but the person sae cannot... tym flew lyk damn fast... n the next school is us!!!

we r lyk waiting n looking at the other school perform(coz gt a tv showing) den everyone is nervous(i think)... sum was toking... sum nervousing... sum wishing each other gd luck... den it was our turn... we gt in... n sat down... gt alot of schools down dere lorr... den is veri bright... nt lyk normally the audience there is dark de lorr... so... it started!! 渐快的凉风first... den 阿佤山... everyone looked at dinglaoshi n her $80(the stick)... lol... we put in our best... n soon its over... the seniors was dere to support us... dey clap so loud.... lol...

we went down the stage... den duno how cum we walk down the stairs... imagine wearing tt stupiid shoe... carrying tt zys... when u cant even c the stairs... everyone reach lvl1 den all of us was so emo... py cried... den hf cried... we put down our stuffs n den go up again... prssco was separated coz there was nt alot of space(rmb we're the last school)... but mainly(nt all) gy is seated 2gether... we sat at the first n second row on the right... n pohliva started toking wad we shld react hearing the results:
if gt cop(which is impossible): he will keep quiet coz he dun believe we gt cop...
if gt bronze(which is oso impossible): he will sae veri loudly to yt ''都是你啦！den keep scolding...
if gt silver(which we shldnt get): he will sae softly to yt ''都是你啦''... den scold softly
if gt gold(which we might hav get): he will duno wad to do... coz its nt a gd thing or a bad thing...
if gt gold wif honours(which we wanted to get): he will jump up, shout, scream, n even cry...
he n yt was rehearsing n i was laughing all the way... den he started toking other things... he tok alot...

we wait veri veri long for the results... densuddenly heard sum clappings... den we tot the judges cum out le... but its nt... its sum school clapping for nth... den it happened another tym... so lame...

finally.......... the judges came... den a person introduced the judges...

before i start off, let me just scream one last time...

PRSSCO: GOLD WITH HONOURS

we worked so hard. its been a terribly long journey. remember during october-november period? we were all struggling with a va mountain and eventually to turn out to be the last section to learn the whole song finish... remember jan-feb period? we were once again, struggling with jian kuai, and ding once mentioned guan yue is the lousiest section to date...

it all became history and will stay that way.

gold with honours didnt came easy. its the accumulated hardwork from other sections and guan yue xD well done everyone!!! i will miss guan yue forever! not forget u guys, afterall, its u guys that were accompanying me every tuesday and thursday. for now, every tuesdays and thursdays are going to be different. VERY DIFFERENT.

syf-team 07 (guan yue)-

laura: thanks for being such a great junior. gaoyinsheng is now a LEGEND, and will continue to be a LEGEND. please practice harder alright with the NEW SHENG (if guo lao shi remembers, haha.) and remember to train hard on qi zhen yin cause i sucked at it (and didnt manage to use it!!) and stop laughing when i try qi zhen... its damn nice alright.

zhaode: its great blowing with you at times. especially the day during our last concert when we stayed at the staircase and BLASTED our music there. it was really great and productive, train your juniors hard alright?

emily: thanks for constantly reminding me that im the SHOUXI and please continue to call me that even when i graduate. work hard... the next time i come back, make sure you can shuang tu on zhong yin sheng. xD

peiyun: you're a great sectional leader and you know it. without you, guanyue wouldnt have any discipline. ALL THE BEST in your future dizi CAREER lol... dont get too stressed before concerts right? and have enough sleep before concerts, cause you always claim you're tired, haha.

its me, ju peng, posting again. gratz to u guys for the GOLD WITH HONOURS!!
after all the hardships, the long hours of practicing, the weekend practices, the scoldings from ding lao shi and guo lao shi and the others which i left out, u guys finally made a breakthrough. "not gonna get gold with honours", i have been hearing this phrase for a long time and i almost believed it, but the syf members proved me wrong. i am really proud of prssco, for it is, and will always be, the best cca in the world. i don't think i have heard something else better than what u have played just now, the other schools were quite good, when i heard hwa chong(i think, the school was the next school that was playing when we got there, should be hwa chong) play the piece they had chosen, i actually thought it would beat our "a wa shan"(i dunno how to spell). and again prssco proved me wrong.
when it was announced that prssco got gold with honours, i was happy, close to shedding tears. i was just sitting there, smiling away and clapping. another feeling was about to overcome me, jealousy. i was jealous of u guys getting gold with honours. i tried to keep it out of my mind, but it just wasn't enough. until i was in the bus on the way to school did i realise that jealousy is not a solution, it was my own fault, slacking away while u guys were in the meeting room moving one step at a time closer to gold with honours. after i realised this, i will strive to become a very good dizi player, enter the syf in sec 4, and achieve GOLD WITH HONOURS with prssco, and do the school proud.

if any1 has the songs played by our co during the competition could u send it to me? i want it.

SYF, for us, is on wendesday. we worked so hard during this 2 years. from the boring basic techniques training, to the crazy figuring out the notes and rhythms for a va mountain, to the unproductive practices (and thats why ding lao shi will sometimes say guan yue is one of the worst sections), to the excitement of getting jian kuai's pu, to the hectic combine sessions where we got scolding hundreds of times, to today. PRSSCO guan yue is all ready to challenge SYF.

i attached wo yao de xing fu in this blog entry cause i think this part of the lyrics is meaningfully meaningful. (sorry huifang, ure not the ONLY one using chinese now, hoho)

we made it through. all these months that we went through, we tried our best. we had fights. we are attitudes. we had everything, which also includes scoldings and tears.

we have all came so far. we made it through like wad i've said. what i really want to see is the total hardwork in everyone of us. the enthu-ness. the family bonding that we can all have. sometimes, i really wonder. have i really done my job as a sectional leader. have i done my best to be a sectional leader that all of u expect me to me?

ok ppl, here's the detailed packing list for the co camp on 15th march to 17th march.

Must bring things:
1. Shirt (best is around 4 peices- girls, please bring a black tee shirt.)
2. Short (best is around 4 peices as well- girls, please bring a long pant.)
3. Undergarments (best is around 4 or 5 sets)
4. Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, body form, comb and other stuff that u need in the toilet)
5. Towel (prefered will be around 2 peices.)
6.Poncho/Raincoat (one is more than enough. umbrella is ermm...i don't think is nice lar...)
7. Extra Footwear (shoes/sandals/slippers. any of it. best is slippers. for bathing)
8. At least 1-litre water bottle.
9. Torch light (you need this. u must use this. if not u jia lat ar.)
10. EZ Link card (pls top it up well. u need this as well.)
11. Writing materials (a notebook and a pen bahs)
12. sleeping bag (u need it lar)
13. medication (if necessary)
14. at least $20
15. at least 2 plastic bags to put ur dirty clothings.

Optional items:
1. jacket/wind breaker (for in case u cold)

people, pls don't bring your handphone. they might be having a check. so DO NOT bring ur phone. if not u too bad lar.

please wear your full pe attire and then meet at MPH.

you see, there isnt any animal playing sheng in the picture above (ignore the fact that there isn't guan and suona too =] and that there is a dizi-like thing played by the mouse and monkey, just treat it as a dizi xD). and here's the main point: SHENG IS SO ULU :(

i shall just write about an incident that happened numerous times ok, im sure you can picture it.

person A: hey. what CCA are you in?
ME: oh, CO.
person A: CO?!?! what instrument do you play?
ME: sheng =] *smiles so hard as though playing sheng is the best thing on earth)

ME: oh yes, sheng *thinking this person is impressed with me playing sheng.*
